Why should everyone care about the border? There are many reasons to care, but in this episode, I focus on the drug epidemic, especially fentanyl. I see the effects of fentanyl and other drugs every day while working in a drug and alcohol detox center. We can and must do more to combat this deadly issue. Our government has a moral responsibility to do more, and that is exactly what I plan to do in the Virginia State Senate. Earlier this year I interviewed former retired Supervisory Special Agent James Gagliano about the corruption in the FBI. Last week, James wrote an article for the New York Post titled "The FBI Agents Assocation rewarded agents who took a knee in front of BLM, proving the rot isn't just at the top". This article has raised quite the stir with both current and former FBI Agents. In this episode I present my viewpoint on this issue having served for over twenty years as an agent myself in the FBI. Change within the FBI is not going to happen until there is a groundswell of demand from the public. The FBI cannot continue down this road if it is expected to serve the American people, and I discuss my thoughts on how this should and can be done.

I was wrong in thinking that in ten years researchers would say we handled the pandemic poorly. They are already saying it! Researchers are now saying the lockdowns had a negligible effect on the outcomes, however, we did a lot of damage in other areas.
