As a fellow LEO I couldn’t agree more, when you turn the relatively unlimited power of the state to focus on nearly any individual citizen without cause you not only have a waste of resources but a serious abuse of power, a use of the force of the power of the state that is every bit as destructive as any physical use of force case we are currently seeing in the media.
